Gaining Research Experience

At the Krieger School, you’ll be encouraged to ask original questions and pursue answers through hands-on research, creative work, and real-world exploration, starting as early as your first year. Our faculty guide students to and through investigations of all kinds. Whether you join a lab, conduct fieldwork, explore archival materials, spend a summer on an archaeological dig, or expand an internship into an independent project, you’ll have the support and mentorship to turn your curiosity into impact.
