Your First Year at the Krieger School is designed to help you explore big ideas, build lasting connections with professors and other students, and find your voice in a university setting. With more than 70 First-Year Seminars to choose from in your first semester and innovative writing courses in the second semester, you are welcomed into our vibrant intellectual life. Here you build the lifelong habits of mind you will need to explore and address the world’s most intractable issues.
